Vivacity Tech is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the Operations, Finance, and Sales teams via the purchasing process. This position is responsible for the purchase order process and ensures all purchased products arrive at their destination. The Procurement Specialist will research and purchase products for resale and/or internal company use.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:
- Sources product pricing from the distributor
- Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers
- Negotiates contracts with wholesalers and suppliers
- Oversees and maintains current inventory
- Creates, submits and follows up on purchase orders
- Researches, analyzes and forecasts current and future buying trends, markets, styles and products, with attention to specific target market and demographics
- Assesses financial risks of purchases
- Maintains repository of vendor information
- Attends trade shows, product exhibitions and conferences to maintain current understanding of new products and trends
- Manages inventory levels of supplies needed for internal and external consumption
- Continuously looks for ways to save the company unneeded expenses
- Communicates product delays with other departments to ensure minimal disruption
- Relentlessly pursuing process improvements to drive efficiency
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
- Ability to work independently
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
